Storage and handling

In addition to the pure transport of containers, we are also able to offer various services in the area of warehousing and transshipment. This includes containers and general cargo of all kinds. With over 7,500 square metres of storage space in our 5 warehouses, we can provide all services from classic storage to order picking and refinement. We use the most modern handling equipment. In addition to a large fleet of diesel and electric forklift trucks, we have a 5-tonne forklift truck that can also move heavy goods in the warehouse and in containers. For the handling of particularly heavy general cargo and containers up to 42 tonnes, our in-house reach stacker is used.  This enables us to move and store containers in our in-house container depot. In addition, the stacker is equipped with a certified scale and can thus take over the VGM weighing of containers. The weighing data is transferred to our office via interface, where the corresponding weighing note can then be created and forwarded to the customer. Other special services such as the cleaning of containers or the production of special crates are also possible by arrangement.

The delivery of the goods can take place both in the truck and in the container. From LCL to FCL, our warehouse departments can load and unload all types of containers. When loading, we attach great importance to proper securing of the goods to ensure safe transport. According to the motto “Everything from one source”, our transport department can also take over the pre-collection or onward transport of the containers.

With the loading activities, customs clearance also plays a major role. Thanks to our AEO certification, as an authorised consignee we are also allowed to close incoming T1s without a multistop at the responsible customs office. For goods whose further whereabouts are unclear, we also have a type C bonded warehouse registered with the customs. Goods that are stored in this warehouse are no longer affected by the classic customs periods.
